Are survey responses submitted periodically during survey completion, or altogether at the end?

Will participants’ responses to each question be automatically submitted periodically while they complete the survey? Or will their responses only be submitted altogether at the very end (once the participant arrives at the “end” page)?

Whenever the "next" button is clicked, the previously given responses will be written to the data set.
