Technical error concerning with the mandatory setting of the "email id question" of my thesis survey

Dear Sir/ Madam,

I want to thank you for allowing us to use your Sosci survey tool for the students in their research studies. Unfortunately, I have encountered with a technical error with one of the questions of my questionnaire. Currently, my survey is ongoing now.

The technical error is on "page 5" of the survey & it is the last question. Which is mentioned below.

Q) Please mention your email id? ( Even though this is a mandatory question, I have noticed this question can be easily skipped by the participants. The link to the technical error page is below.

For introducing the above question, I choose to select this option i.e. "this question must be answered". The Q) Please mention your email id? is reflected as a mandatory question in the software, yet this question is skipped by the participants.

Can you provide me the assistance in resolving this technical error?

Could you please add the information what exactly you have chose in the question as response restriction? What question type are you using?

Please note that the separate selection of contact data does NOT allow for a general option to demand an answer.

If you provide at least one option to check ("Texts in the Contact Form"), then you can select that the respondent must provide a valid email address - but only if they checked the option.

If you need a question to store an email address separatedly, while demanding an answer, you may use an "Opt-In" question. Yet, the separation of the data will not be as strict on the technical level, as with the "contact data" question.
