Hi SoSci survey team,

I have created a question with multiple choices of text input, like this:

I would like the users to fill in only the spaces that they consider the use. However, the system doesn't allow me to go to next page if one of the spaces is empty.
So, Is there any possibility to leave spaces empty or at least establish a value by default like "0"?, so the system allow me to go next when not all the spaces are filled in.

Thanks a lot for any suggestion or reply!!

You habe probably set the question to "must be answered".

If not, please check the text inputs (items) if you are demanding answers there.

This setting is also visible by a orange-red box in the list of question (navigation).

Hi, Thanks for the fast reply.

No, that is not the case. Even if I set the question as not mandatory, whenever I just want to fill the question that I am interested in: let's say Automobile and Scooter (as the following picture), the system doesn't allow to go next if I don't fill the others as well.

So how can I leave empty spaces in the questions, so I don't have the warning message.
Or start all the spaces with a pre-set value: Like 0

If this message is displayed the question or the inputs are set to "probe" missing answers. In that case a light-blue box shall be displayed in the list of questions.
