Hi!

I have uploaded 2 videos under the "Images and media files" section. When I want to put them into a page in the questionnaire, I cant find them in the column to the right where all the texts and questions appear. How can I fix this? Or should I drag the videos into the page from somewhere else?

Videos won't appear in this list.

Please use a few lines of HTML code to embed your videos:

Thanks. It worked, but when I add it to the page box, it says "false". However, when I start the preview, the video works. Is it fine then?

It says "false"? That is not very kind. Did you put the HTML code into a text and drag this into the questionnaire or did you create a "HTML code" element on the page?

Yes, probably everything is okay. The "false" may just have been a message that some interaction did not work properly.

Okey perfect. Now when we preview they survey and play the video, it is really small (even on smarphone). Is there a way to make the video cover the whole screen? (except from clicking on fullscreen?)

If you post a pretest link that leasd directly (!) to the page with the video, I can give more accurate advice.

It seems that you did not embed the video from the project folder, but directly from YouTube. You copied some HTML code from YouTube to do so:

<iframe src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/KdVHukeD3xM" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen="" width="560" height="315" frameborder="0"></iframe>

Please note the width and height settings close to the end. Increase them so that width is 800 pixels (the height accordingly). The YouTube video will then use the full questionnaire width.

Okey. I did this and it works well to when you do the survey on the computer desktop. But when you do it from a mobile phone, the video is still really small. Is there a way to fix this? Thank you so much for the help!

In my tests, the video exceeded the screen on a mobile phone display. Large, but not good, either.

You can try and calculate the size depending on the screen size via JavaScript (more about that in a new question, if you need details).

What mobile phone did you use for testing, getting a small video?

It may well be that embedding a video from YouTube may not result in a perfectly satisfying result. But at least we can try and make it usable on any screen.

Ok. Used an Iphone, both plus sizes and smaller ones. But its equally small on all of them.

I would love to get the details on the JavaScript and also instructions on how to do it :)

Then please post a new question in the online support, including the HTML and JavaScript code currently unsed an a pretest link to the page. Thanks.
