do we need to change internal coding if we want to use different language versions of the questionnaire?

internal coding change in the different language versions of the questionnaire

I designed my questionnaire in the English version. Everything is just perfect. However, when I want to use in another language, I can't see the necessary changes. I mean in the original one I gave 4 items and in the next page I ask my participants to rank these 3 items for example: apple, orange, cherry by using drag and drop. Unfortunately, these 3 items are perfectly clear in the English version of the questionnaire but in another language version mode: I can't see these 3 items such as apple, orange, cherry but instead I see the coding things on the screen. The system doesn't recognize these ,internal coding of 3 items in another language version of the questionnaire.How can we fix it?

I am afraid, I do not understand this question. What do "the coding things" look like? Would you maybe like to post a pretest URL, so I can give it a look myself (https://www.soscisurvey.de/help/doku.php/en:survey:pretest)?

Does this problem occur with the ranking question only, or does it apply to other questions as well?
