major problems with adding audio files

Question

Dear SoSciServy Team,

I have encountered a major problem with attaching my mp3 files to my survey (short voice recordings of three words)

It is a psycholinguistic experiment. I need a participant to listen to 3 audio-recordings and select one option.

"The sound if a tennis ball is..

audio A    audio B      audio C"

I have uploaded all my files to the 'Images and Media Files'

But I can not neither drag them to my Question, nor see their HTML address by pressing the right button

When I copy the HTML code from your page and name it after the list in the library (01A) and insert it into the text of the survey, the icon appears on the preview but the audio is not playing

What am I doing wrong?

I have zero-experience in programming. Is there any user-friendly option of attaching audio-files?
If no, why does this fail to work?

Is it possible to attach audio files at all?
Is it possible to attach them to answer options?

There seem to be some issues with your HTML code. The "control" is duplicated and you write <01A... instead of <src...

If there's wrong code in the manuel, please let me know the exact URL of the respective manual. Thank you.

Nothing worked, unfortunately.

I am trying to insert the HTML code to the answers. My experiment is as follows:

• 35 tasks + Intro + Demographics
• 3 audio files per task (105 audio files total)
• Participants listen to all three recordings as many times as they want.
• They choose one of the three recordings.
• The order of the 35 tasks should be randomized.
• The positions of the three audio files within each task should also be randomized

How do I do this?

I need to attach three different audio files to each answer A, B, and C.

I can not drag them from the library. They are all downloaded there, and when I try adding the code nothing happens.

The files are named 01A, 01B, 01C ..... 35A, 35B, 35C

The task shall look like this:

TASK-1 The sound of a small stone hitting the ground
(Das Geräusch eines kleinen Steins, der auf den Boden trifft) :

A. (audio button) B. (audio button) C. (audio button)
