prolific IDs and redirect

Hello,

please i have an issue understanding how to get the ID from Prolific. I went through some asked questions and saw i had to create 'device and request' then 'variables(POST/GET)'. Where exactly should it be placed on the first page? and how are the informations gotten?

Also, at the end I'll like to redirect participants. Can i add the url at the very last page of the questionnaire or how?

please sorry if my questions sound silly, it's just i don't have much idea how it works...

Where exactly should it be placed on the first page?

Drag it into the page like any other question, technically it is irrelevant, if you place it at the top, middle or bottom of the page (unless you skip to the next before before via PHP code).

and how are the informations gotten?

Prolific will "give" the respondents an URL that contains the information, this URL is sent to SoSci Survey, which writes it into the dataset, then. For more background, give this manual a look, please: Working with External Panel Providers.
