MySQL error MySQL connection error: Too many connections

Can not connect to sosci survey over my university account. Very confused and fear I loose my data.

Are you logging in on www.soscisurvey.de or does your university use their own server with a different domain name?

Please contact the IT team of your university, and tell them to configure the MySQL/MariaDB daemon properly. There seems to be a limit for the connections, and that is too small.

At least many new respondents will see the same rror message, and will, therefore, be unable to complete their questionnaires.

All right, I will talk with them. Just to make sure, we are only talking about limited connections that is not connected to data collection?

Well, it is, as the questionnaire is retrieved from the database, and colelcted data is written to the database. So, as I wrote, that will not work either. However, I see no reason to fear for the data that had already been collected earlier.
