I am setting up a multilingual survey and I would like to offer different varieties of English (for example, British and American English; English adapted for India or Nigeria). Under "add language", is there any way to do that, or to have more than three user-defined languages?

Huh - until now, three custom languages seemed sufficient.

Adding American English as language seems reasonable, and we should be able to also add two more custom language options. That, however, will take some time, because such changes require extensive database operations.

Please leave a comment under my reply: How is your schedule?

And just for my person interest: I did not know about "English adapted for India or Nigeria" until now. How do these variations differ from British English?

Thank you so much for the quick reply! Unfortunately, our schedule is pretty tight, with the survey launch planned for next week. But no worries; I am sure we will manage somehow. In the worst case, I'll have to use different survey projects for different English versions.

We are outsourcing the translation to a professional company and they told us that local adaptations of the English questionnaire were recommended. As we haven't received the translations yet, I must admit that I don't know what the exact difference would be, however.

You're right, creating a copy of the survey project to have another bunch of language versions, is a simple but efficient solution.
