Changing back to old interface

Hello,

Thank you for your response and these instructions! I don't see "specials" and "re-enable the manual sorting" under the project settings. I have "General Settings," "Release the Survey," "Privacy," "Info Page," "Authorise," "Import/Export," and "Expert Settings."

Could you please provide additional information regarding where I can locate the setting to return to the old interface?

The correct wording is Expert Settings and the option is named "Allow custom section order".

This will show the "position" attribute in sections and order them according to the positions that have been stored for the sections. And, of course, the variables' order will be changed as well.
