How can I alphabetically sort the answer options of different language versions?

I created a dropdown selection with 98 different answer options in english. The questionnaire was also translated in 2 other languages. Unfortunately, the answer options are not sorted alphabetically for the other language versions and I don't know how to sort them manually.

Is there a way to have the answer options sorted alphabetically in every language version we created?

It shall be sufficient to set the "item sorting" to "alphabetically" in the question in the item settings. This should always use the currently active language version.
