How do I add an open text question underneath a horizontal selection question?

I would like to add an open text question underneath a horizontal selection question on the same question page.

One way I have tried to solve this is by directly editing the source code and pasting it into the "instructions" section. However, it has generated a couple errors (for example, see screenshot below).

Is there an easier way to do this, rather than editing the code directly?

(I do not want to create two question pages and then merge them onto one page in the compose questionnaire setting).

The easiest solution would be to place (drag) both questions on the same page, one below the other. Your screenshot looks like you already did that?
