My variable labels are mixed up

Question

I created a survey that was originally in Arabic and I added an English version. When I tried to download the dataset for SPSS with labels in English, I noticed that many of the variable labels are mixed up. For example, age is marked as gender and vice versa. Country is marked as employment, marital status is marked as region, and many other errors.

I double-checked the translation to make sure I didn't mix up anything but it's all correct. What can I do to fix this?

Most likely, SPSS was confused at some point during import. A good bet in these cases is to use the two-file-import: Import Data into SPSS (via CSV)
