Filter questions not working

Hi,

I have two filter questions in the questionnaire. If they are not positively responded the interview should end.

However, they don't seem to work. Respondents seem to be able to continue to the rest of the questionnaire even if they said no to both filter questions in the pre-test, debugging, and actual implementation of the survey.

Any idea how to fix it?

How exactly did you define the filters? In the questions or by using PHP code?

And - very important for a screenout - did you select a text to display for the screenout (in the filter)?

I defined them in the question using the point-and-click interface. I did not choose a text to display. I'll fix that and see if it solves the problem. Thanks for the swift reply!

I did not choose a text to display.

That is most likely the cause of the issue.

We will tell SoSci Survey to display an appropriate error message for that in future...
