Hi,

I am planning to use the SoSci survey for a crowdsourced content analysis task. I am asking for the content ID from the coder in an open text question. I am planning to use the answers to associate the content analysis data with meta-data on the content material.

I was wondering if it would be possible to validate what the coders put in the question against a list of ID codes (stored as strings vector on a local computer) and give them a warning if it does not match with the list of IDs?

You might - for example - store the codes in the database for contents (as keys!) and then use dbGet() to validate if there is such a key.

You might even store the metadata there, and use put() to copy it into the dataset.
