Question

Is it possible to link respondents with responses (survey data) from a former study to develop for example a follow-up study?

When I import /copy an entire project I understand the content will be deleted (only questions and files will be copied). How can I access and use the collected data from a former project to make a second study? For that I need the content (collected data) and identy the respondent (the person).

There are various solutions, depending on the study design and the context.

Often, the mailing feature of SoSci Survey is used to realize multi-wave surveys:

Usually, you will put both questionnaires into the same survey project to allow for merging the data from wave 1 and 2. But, again, that depends on the organizational settings. If you work with personal data (watch out for GDPR requirements!) then you can also work with separate survey projects.
