warning invalid answer: German in English questionnaire

Dear SoSci Survey support,

I want to run an experiment in English, so I set the project language to English. However, when I try invalid responses (i.e., age < 17, in a free text entry item which is set to a range of 18-99), I get a warning message in German. I had a look at the default text modules, they are all in English. I also checked that the questionnaire language is English.

What can I do to get English warning messages?

Please make sure that the "base language" setting under Survey Project -> Project Settings is correct. It should be "English" in your case.
