password to start the questionnaire does not work

Question

By using the link to my questionnaire a password is always required even if I choose the option "public" without access restriction.
If I use the option with password and type the correct password the questionnaire does not start as well.
The first page with the language selection always appears.
I can start the questionnaire with the green arrow without any problems

First, please check if there are multiple questionnaires in Compose Questionnaire -> Manage Questionnaires. Probably you have one questionnaire with a passwort and another one without.

This is true. Maybe because I copied on old questionnaire and adapted it.
So the password of the old questionnaire works!
But even if I change the password of the old questionnaire as well to a new one it always requires the old password. How to change this?

When you open the URL without any other options (q=...) then the default questionnaire will start. Please set the default questionnaire carefully in "Compose Questionnaire" -> "Manage Questionnaires", maybe save again, even if it's set correctly.

Please note, that the access settings are configured separately for every questionnaire. So, you could have 2 questionnaires with different passwords, a public one and one that is reserved for internal use.
