We will conduct a longitudinal panel data collection, three measurement occasions spaced approximately six month apart. Data collection will start at the end of 2026/beginning of 2027. We are expecting to collect no more than 2000 participants across all three measurement occasions. Is there anything else we should consider with SosSci and longitudinal data collection other than survey administration period and max. number of respondents? Are there any special features of SosSci offered for longitudinal surveys that we should purchase?

All features required for longitudinal data collection are already included.

Depending on how long each data collection wave will take, buying three licences "Large (1 Month)" for each of the waves, may be the most cost-efficient option, as you require licences only for data collection, not for the time in between.

Thank you very much. Could you additionally tell me is it possible to buy any kind of a permanent licence with no expiration?

We do not offer subscriptions, as this would put additional burdon in most of our users.

We also do not offer any licences payed once and valid for eternity (because we cannot guarantee for permanent availability).

What we can offer is that the usr account and the projects will not disappear as long as you log in from time to time (that is once a year on the pro server). SoSci Survey will always be available (talking about forseeable future) and you can buy the licences for data collection, using your existing survey projets, whenever you want to collect data.

Of yourse, you can also buy two 12-month licences to have 2 years of 100% flexibility.
