How can I record what key participants pressed?

Dear SoSci survey support team,

our participants are instructed to press F11 to enter the full screen mode for the experiment. To ensure that the full screen mode is actually entered, we want to record the key press.

You can capture keys via JavaScript window.addEventListener("keydown", ...) and use an internal variable to store whether F11 was one of the keys that was pressed.
