Bug in a question?-missing values

Hello. There is one specific question in my questionnaire, that remained empty in 5 out of ~200 respondents. When I say empty, I mean the field seems white, meaning "not asked or irrelevant to calculate MISSING". When I open the answered questionnaire from these respondents/cases, it seems as this particular question was never asked to these people. Is this a bug? What can I do to retrieve this information - assuming it can be found somewhere? I should note that I labeled this particular question as mandatory ("the question must be answered"), and all previous questions that had to be answered were answered properely. At least this is in line with the "white" data cell.

There are multiple reasons why a question is not asked:

• Respondents may have dropped out before, please check the LASTPAGE variable for that.
• A question filter may have been triggered and disabled the question - check the other questions for filters affecting the question in question.
• A PHP code or PHP filter may have skipped the question or the whole page.

What can I do to retrieve this information

If the question was not asked, there has never been an answer.
