Button for audio assistance on tablets

Question

Hi all! I am trying to implement audio assistance in my survey, and on PC it works fine (the play icon appears upon hovering) - but on tablets the play icon for audio assistance doesn't show up. Are there settings that could fix this? Can I program a stable button for audio assistance so it is always visible?

Actually, the button shall be visible on touch devices all the time. Is it invisible only on tablets or on smartphones as well? What tablet did you use for testing?

It does appear on the smartphones - but we really need it to work on the tablets... Any advice? The tablet is Lenovo Tab M9, with Android 13.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. It seems that some Android devices do not properly report the input type (https://www.ctrl.blog/entry/css-media-hover-samsung.html).

We have applied a workaround that will cover most such devices, and validated that the Lenovo Tab now displays the buttons to read texts.
