Hello,
I am programming a questionnaire with Likert-type response scales (1–5).
On the desktop version, the scales are shown correctly in one horizontal row (see attached screenshot).
But on mobile devices (smartphones), the scale is automatically split into several separate questions. It looks like multiple different questions instead of one scale.
How can I disable this mobile optimization so that the scale always stays in one row (like in the desktop version), even on smartphones?

The responsive view in SoSci Survey takes care to change the layout accordingly to the available space. Therefore, a different layout is used on mobile devices, which is the default in user interfaces since about 2010. We strongly recommend to make use of that feature, because if half the scale is hidden on a too-small display, you may encounter serious measurement errors.

However, SoSci Survey is not Apple an therefore you're the one to decide what is the best solution for your questionnaire. Just edit the question and, in the layout options, select the "static" layout to disable the responsive layout feature.
