Can %custom1% from contact list be displayed directly in the questionnaire

I am working with SoSci Survey and I have uploaded a contact list (Excel) with a column CUSTOM1 that contains individual voucher links for each respondent. My goal is to show each respondent their own voucher link at the end of the questionnaire.

I know that placeholders like %custom1% can be used in mailings, but I am unsure whether the same placeholder can be used directly inside the questionnaire text elements.

Could you please confirm the correct procedure?
