No recipients found - Multi-wave Survey with self-recruited respondents

Dear all,

I contact you to ask a couple of clarification questions about Multi-wave surveys with self-recruited respondents.
My follow up needs to take place in a few months and I would like to proceed with the Manual sending of the invitations (without scheduled deliveries) as outlined here https://www.soscisurvey.de/help/doku.php/en:survey:opt-in-live

The access to my first questionnaire (first measurement) is set to public, as I do not have the email addresses. In this first questionnaire I have an opt-in question set double-opt-in with privacy mode Pseudonym.
I tried and the emails are saved correctly in the List of Contacts.

For the follow up questionnaire, as outlined in the serial mailing manual (https://www.soscisurvey.de/help/doku.php/en:survey:mailing) I set the access to Mailing / Access URL

However, when I try to send the follow up questionnaire to see if it works, I get the message:
No Recipients Found
There are no recipients that fulfill the selection criterian and did not yet receive this mailing.

I am not really sure about which step I am missing.

What (how many) mailings do you have? And did you send any of them in the initial questionnaire - or did you configure a mailing in the opt-in question to be used after the opt-in?

And what criteria did you specify to prepare the sending?

It seems to work now, but I am not sure why

The only thing that I changed is the number of mailings.

Initially I had two as outlined in step 2 of the manual, Mailing no. 1 for questionnaire A2 (that I was actually not using) and Mailing no. 2 for the invitation to the second wave.

Then I simply deleted Mailing no. 1, and now it works correctly

My guess ist that you (a) tried to send mailing 1, again, or (b) that you configured mailing 2 to be a follow-up to mailing 1, but did not select the proper conditions. If it works now ... fine :)
