Will the SoSci Survey survey link be included in participants' browser history unless they use an incognito tab?

When participants complete a survey on SoSci Survey, will the SoSci Survey website address be stored in their browser history unless they complete the survey in an “incognito” tab? Or does SoSci Survey privacy policy automatically ensure that the website address is not listed in their browser history?

The history of most browsers will automatically store all URLs visited throughout the Internet.

You can try and include the deleteUrl() function in your questionnaire layout, but there is no guarantee that this will always work, and Safari won't support that function at all.

What is the reason for you to hide the SoSci Survey URL from the browser history?
