I am unable to use the mailing function

I have attempted using the mailing function for over 24 hours and I keep getting the response "sending in progress, please wait. What do I do?"

Did you try to send the emails manually ("send immediately") or did you try and schedule a mailing? How many addresses have you imported into SoSci Survey? As far as I see, you have used the mailing feature earlier ... did everything work then?

Yes, I have used the mailing feature previously and didn't experience any issues. At the moment, I have 126 active email entries. However, I have tried since yesterday to send the emails manually ("send immediately") and have gotten the same response of "sending in progress, please wait"

It looks like you're trying to send the emails "immediately", but JavaScript does not actually start. There are different solutions for that:

(a) make sure that you have not disabled JavaScript in your browser.

(b) reload the page using F5 ("reload page")

(c) clear the browser cache, something in the cache blocks JavaScript in a certain page to run correctly.

(d) try another browser - it should work in any browser, but if one is broken...

Another solution would be not to use the "send immediately" option, but to schedule the mailing. You can use a time in very near future (e.g. in 2 minutes).
