I have downloaded my survey data but I noticed that when I downloaded the data to Excel, in the TIME_RSI column the numbers appears as dates like in the example below:

0.7
01.Jan
0.95
0.97
Jan 57
01.Jan
0.62
0.55
Jan 22
0.66
0.86
01. Jan
Jan 91

How can I make the the strange dates into normal numbers for analysis?

Excel tries to interpretat the decimal values as dates. Too much enthusiasm ;)

Here is a solution how to give Excel more information for a proper import:
Excel Formats Numbers as Dates

Thanks for your help, but is there a way to change the date back to the decimal number? Because I dont know the response times for those with the strange dates.

When I followed the instructions from the link it changed the date from Jan 57 (as example above) to 01.01.1957
Or do I need to download the data again from sosci?

I am afraid, the formerly posted solution went in the wrong direction. My apologies for that.

Please find a better solution in the (edited) answer above.
