Downloading Uploaded Data via API

Question

Dear Sir/Madam,

Hi ! I had a question regarding the uploaded data in So Sci Survey. When you use the questions Upload data type and view the uploaded data files in the CONTROLS > Collected Data > Download Uploaded Files , is it possible to get this data via an API Link ? Using the REST API functionality in So Sci I am only able to retrieve the responses but not any uploaded files. Is there any way to do this ?

That is a good question, and actually you're the first one to ask it.

At the moment: No.

However, this should absolutely be possible. We will try and add this function to the REST API within a few days, maybe a week.

Alright, the REST API now supports uploaded files on www.soscisurvey.de.

Please use the endpoint /projects/{projectId}/uploads/{filename} to access a file, and /projects/{projectId}/uploads for the file listing.

For testing via Swagger see www.soscisurvey.de/templates/sosci-survey-api.yaml

Hi. So I tried accessing the uploaded files but since I am using a University's server it seems that this feature does not work there.  It seems that this might be the issues but I am not sure :
My project "X" is on: ep-sosci.*********************
Uploads API is only available on: www.soscisurvey.de

It could be that I have missed something as well

There was no new server release since the feature was implemented. We'll see to create a release shortly, then the university IT can update their installation.
