How do you send SMS texts to participants in the US?

With my account, I am able to send SMS texts to particpants in Germany but I tried testing it with a US number, and they are not receiving any SMS texts that they are supposed to get when registering. Is there any special setting that needs to be enabled for the account? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Yes, it is on soscisurvey.de. I am able to send SMS to German numbers but did not work when I tried with a US phone number

It should work with any numbers wordwide... well, please send us an email with the phone number you tried, and we'll track the status in the SMS gateway's records.

Thank you for the phone number.

We checked at our gateway provider and all messages to this number were "expired". The "expired" status means, according to the documentation:

The message could not be delivered within a specific time window. For example, the destination number is not registered on the network.

This may mean that the cell phone was off (at sending time), had no connection, the text message storage was full, or the user may have configured the device not to accept text messages if the sender ID is unknown.
