How to insert a question (same question) after each randomized trial?

Hello,

I am a PhD student at the University of Waikato. I am trying to create a survey where the trials are randomised but followed by a confidence rating scale (same question) after each trial. I figured out how to randomise the trials but I do not know how to insert confidence rating scale in between the trials.

The task...
Participants are asked to choose the biggest circle in the picture (there are four circles). I chose the [Assignment (records latency)] question type so I can also measure response time.

I inserted a picture (that shows four circles) and put 4 answer options (red, blue, black, green).

After participant has chosen an answer, then I want to ask them,
"How confident are you with your answer (1 to 10 Likert-scale).

My questions are...
1) How can I insert the confidence rating scale after each trial?
2) How can I increase picture size?
3) Did I use the correct question type?
4) If so, how long should I set the process time if I do not want to set time limit? Should I just leave it blank?

Okay, that complicates things. The assignment tasks displays all items/trials on the same page. That means that you cannot simply insert something in between. If you would like to do that, you would have to write a log of JavaScript. It is possible, but anything but simple.

I would recommand to use a simple selection task (display mode "cards") and to us (much less) JavaScript code to measure the time between the page being displayed and the selection. The measure would be a bit less accurate, but response measures are a very muddy measure anyway...
